It's a Lot of Chic 

Good morning everyone wherever you are

Hope you are all feeling good and having a great day.

Well woke up to a nice sunny morning today.

Not sure weather to go in the garden to do a bit of work

Have to test how cold it's out side first.

 I have a Shabby Chic Card for you hope you like.

Lot going on in this card 

Papers are Lemmon craft from scrap and craft 

Lots of distressing with torn edges and inks.

I have made all the rolled roses from the papers,

Crinkled rolled paper and behind that is cheesecloth.

Sisal is at the back of the roses and seam binding ribbon hand dyed.

It's a Little Bit Shabby..........

Morning everyone hope your all feeling good.

Well the nights are getting lighter and the rain

is still pooring down still, never mind 

I am sure we'll get some sunny days soon, Oh Oh

it's sounds like I am bursting into song.

So I'll stop waffling and get on.........

I fancied doing something with a large flower

This is what I come up with, you either love it 

or hate it, I quite like it.

Bit of all sorts going in here 

With distressed inks and distressed feel, torn papers and added

Gesso.

I have made the flower using Tim holtz dies

Used Sisal behind, seam binding bow which I 

have dyed

Good afternoon everyone hope you are having a good day

Looks like snow here today so a nice relaxing afternoon
Worked hard for the past to days gardening.

Thought I would do a Wedding Card.

Coloured the image with distressed inks 

I have uses the lemmoncraft papers once again 

I have distressed with inks on the second layer 

then i have used my stencil and applied structure paste.

The dies are Joycraft on the edge hearts.

Flowers are WOC.and the seam binding ribbon is  from my own eBay shop.

Well a Very good morning to everyone 

Hope you all got up this morning feeling good

And are enjoying your day, not bad here at the mo.

To day I have a Pretty Chic Card for you 

With a Bit of a Shabby.

Love making this I was inspired by a canvas I saw with these roses on

Hope you like.......

I used the lovely lemmoncraft papers

The image I have had for while and I thought the rolled roses
complemented the dress on the picture.

I rolled all the roses using lemmoncraft papers,

Added this new Sisal behind the flowers 

Laces and cheesecloth 

A little chipboard tile distressed with inks 

Seam binding ribbon is from my eBay shop

It's a Little Shabby ...........And. Little Chic

It's a Little Shabby...

Good afternoon everyone hope you are feeling good.

We are having a good day today with the sunshine here in the UK.

But it's a bit cold out side, at least we missed the storm last night 

here in the north.

Today I have a Shabby Chic Card 

My card is a 6x6 square must get back into doing some

shapped cards but I am into square at the mo,

I have used those lovely lemmoncraft papers but used

 a stencil on as well on top and distressed with inks

the paper I have corrugated using a gadget I have had

for years I made the large flower and behind that I have used some Sisal

which is a natural plant leaves shredded. But gives a more deleciate look rather than the hemp

The Seam binding ribbon which I have dyed to match the flower.

I sell the binding ribbon and the sisal in my eBay shop

A Day for Daisies

Good afternoon everyone hope you are all having a lovely day or evening.

Something new for a change 

Love this image I have coloured her a few times now 

for my friends special birthdays.

So I thought I colour her again with distressed inks this time.

Underneath I have embossed hearts with grit structure paste.

I have used WOC  roses and I made rolled roses

On the edge butterfly die and my own seam binding ribbon.

Magnolia Tilda .............with Big Heart

Magnolia Tilda with Big Heart 

Good morning everyone and how are you to day

hope your all feeeeeeeeeeelin good.

 Very warm welcome to a new member 

To day I have coloured my Tilda with distressed inks onto watercolour card.

the background I have used distressed inks to make deeper colour in parts.

Then I took my heart stencil and made hearts all over then moved my stencil over 

a quarter of a inch then covered the stencil with artists structure paste 

to create a shadow effect and raised effect, added a few shakes of diamond flakes to give a bit of a sparkle.

be careful when using these they are like fragments of glass shavings and easily get stuck in your fingers as I found out. 

I die cut little flowers out of Maja papers 

Used seam binding ribbons to finish off with a splash of Gesso

Good Morning everyone Hope your are all feeling good.
well January has gone with a flash.

Thought I would have a bit of a change this week

and trying to be a bit more adventuras with 

some techniques.

The only thing is it's all covered over just a little bit popping out at the side.

I was trying something new with distressed inks and structure gel

I coloured my paper with inks and then applied structure gel mixed with gesso over a butterfly stencil 

It looked really good when dried the inks came through the gel and sort of infused.

But my image has covered over the effect never mind I be trying some more.

I really enjoyed colouring this pretty image by Aurora Wings Digital stamp  and putting it together.

I coloured her with distressed inks onto watercolour card 

The butterflies are joy craft and flowers are WOC

the seam binding ribbon is from my craft shop

I have some new hand dyed colours on eBay at the moment.

These ribbons are so versiotile they twist and turn where ever you want them to go.
